Debating the Pros and Cons of Health Savings Accounts

Whether you like HSA’s or not, the fact of the matter is that nearly 70% of large employers expect to have a high-deductible plan on the employee health-care menu by 2013.  Many people think that the high deductible health plan’s lower premiums, combined with the triple tax advantage and flexibility of the HSA, are major selling points, but others believe that the high deductible health plan’s potentially high out-of-pocket costs outweigh the benefits.
